Below, we explain how to use our weight loss tracker template in Google Sheets:
Input your starting weight, current weight and the type of activity you did for each date. For example, if your starting weight is 180 lbs, current weight is 178 lbs, and you went running, record those details.
Subtract your current weight from your starting weight to find the difference. For instance, if your current weight is 178 lbs and your starting weight was 180 lbs, your difference is -2 lbs.
Enter your goal weight in the “Goal Weight” column. This helps track how close you are to your target. If your goal is 160 lbs, input that value.
Add the type of exercise you did in the “Activity” column. You can also write comments about your progress, such as how you feel or adjustments you made.
Highlight the “Date” and “Difference” columns from Table 2, then go to “Insert > Chart” to generate a graph. This will visually track your weight changes over time.
Record your weight, activity, and progress each week. Keeping the template updated helps you stay on track toward your fitness goals.
Feel free to customize this layout based on your specific needs!
