How to Make a Venn Diagram in Google Sheets

You can create a Venn diagram in Google Sheets using the Drawing tool. Here's how to do it:

1. Open the Drawing Tool

Click on Insert in the top menu. Choose Drawing from the dropdown menu.

2. Create Circles for the Venn Diagram

Select the Shape icon (it looks like a circle overlapped by a square) from the toolbar. Choose Shapes, then select the circle shape.

Click and drag on the canvas to draw a circle. To make the circles transparent, select the Fill tool in the toolbar and click on "Transparent."

Repeat the process to create a second circle that overlaps the first one or you can simply copy and paste the first circle, forming the basic Venn diagram structure. Adjust the size and overlap according to your needs.

3. Customize Your Circles 

To add text to your circles, click on the Text box button (T icon) in the toolbar, then click and drag to draw a text box where you want your text. Type in your labels or descriptions for each section of the Venn diagram.

4. Save and Insert into Sheet

Once you are satisfied with your Venn diagram, click the Save and Close button at the top right corner of the Drawing tool.

The Venn diagram will then be inserted into your Google Sheet. You can click and drag to move it or use the corners to resize it.
