Rotating an image in Google Sheets is not as straightforward as in some other applications, because Google Sheets primarily focuses on data management rather than image editing. However, you can still follow the steps below which is a workaround to rotate an image in Google Sheets.
First, navigate to the menu bar, select "Insert", and then click on "Drawing" to open the drawing dialog.
Within the drawing dialog, click on the image icon to add an image. You can upload from your computer, search the web, select from your Google Drive, Google Photos, or paste a URL.
After uploading, select the image by clicking on it. Look for the rotation handle at the top of the image.
Click and drag this handle to rotate your image to the desired angle.
Once you've rotated the image to your liking, click "Save and Close" at the top right of the drawing dialog. This action inserts the rotated image into your Google Sheets document.
Drag the image to position it where you want on your sheet. To adjust the size, click on the image to select it, then drag any of the square resizing handles.
