Google Sheets doesn't have a built-in option to insert multiple images at once. However, you can still achieve this using a simple workaround with Filedrop. Follow the steps below.
Click on the Extensions menu, next hover to Add-ons then choose Get add-ons. This will open the Google Workspace Marketplace.
Search for FileDrop add-on then Install. Next is to allow all the necessary permissions.
After clicking Install, select the Google account where your Google Sheets is saved. Click Continue, then Allow. This will install the add-on to your Google Sheets.
Go to the Extensions menu then choose FileDrop. From the side menu that will appear select Start FileDrop. A FileDrop sidebar will appear on the right side of your screen.
Go to Settings and set the image settings to Image over cells. Next, adjust the File Upload Access to Anyone with the link, then click Embed Images in Cells.
Go to the Upload tab in the FileDrop sidebar, then click Choose Files. A prompt will open to select all of the images that you want to insert in the google sheet.
Select all images you want to insert in your Google Sheet and click Open.
Images will instantly be inserted in the your sheet once selected.
