Google Sheets does not offer a direct way to permanently change the default font across all documents. The default font for Google Sheets is set by Google. However, there are several methods you can try:
1. Select Theme: From the "Format" menu, select "Theme".
2. Customize Theme: In the Theme sidebar, click on the "Customize" button.
3. Change Font: Click on the Font dropdown menu and select the font you want to use as the default.
4. Save Changes: Click "Done" to save the change.
All new tabs added to the spreadsheet will now automatically have this new default font. However, this does not change the global default font.
1. Select All Cells: Press Ctrl+A (Cmd+A on Mac) to select all rows and columns in the spreadsheet.
2. Set Desired Font: Choose your desired font, text color, and font size from the toolbar.
3. Reuse Template: Whenever you need to use this layout, open this sheet, make a copy, and rename it for your new project.
Note: While these methods change the default font for the specified spreadsheet or new sheets, they won't change the default font settings for all Google Sheets globally.
