Using vertical alignment in Google Sheets allows you to position the content of a cell along the vertical axis: top, middle, or bottom. Here's how you can adjust the vertical alignment of cell content in Google Sheets:
Click and drag to select the cells that you want to center vertically.
In the toolbar above the spreadsheet, find and click the "Vertical align" button.
Select one of the options:
After selecting your desired vertical alignment, the content of the selected cell(s) will adjust accordingly.
For more precise control, you can also use the "Format" menu at the top of the screen:
Go to Format > Alignment, and then select your desired alignment (top, middle, or bottom).
Suppose we want to vertically center the text in A1.
To do this, we'll select the "Middle" option.
The text should now be vertically centered within the cell.
