Follow the process below to color cells in Google Sheets based on hex values.

1. Highlight the Cells to Color

Click and drag to select the cells you want to fill with color. These cells will be colored using the paint bucket tool.

2. Access the Paint Bucket Tool

Locate the paint bucket icon in the toolbar at the top of the screen. This tool allows you to fill cells with color.

3. Choose the Fill Color

Click the paint bucket icon to open the color picker. Select "+" to enter a hex color code.

For example, type "#FF5733" to choose an orange color.

4. Apply the Color

After selecting or entering the hex color, click "OK" or press Enter. The selected cells will now be filled with the chosen color.

5. Review and Adjust as Needed

Check the cells to ensure the color has been applied correctly. If needed, go back to the paint bucket tool to adjust the color or apply different colors to other cells.
