You can make a copy of this couple's budget template in Google Sheets for free. Don't request for permission to edit, simply go to File > Make a copy.
Below, we explain how to use our couples budget template in Google Sheets:
Enter your income and your partner’s income in the "Income" section. For example, if you earn $3,500 and your partner earns $4,000, type those amounts into the correct columns. Include any other income sources like freelance work.
Add your expenses and your partner’s expenses in the "Expenses" section. For example, if you pay $1,200 for rent and your partner also pays $1,200, enter these amounts in your columns. This lets you see how much each of you is spending, as well as your total household expenses.
Enter how much you save and how much your partner saves in the "Savings" section. For instance, if you save $500 and your partner saves $600, input those amounts. The template will show your combined savings total for the month.
Check the "Net Balance" section to see how much money remains after entering both incomes, expenses, and savings. The template calculates the remaining balance, so you can see how much you have left together after covering your expenses and savings.
Feel free to customize this layout based on your specific needs!
