Below we explain how to use our quote template in Google Sheets:
Fill in your company's name, address, contact information, the date of the quotation, quotation number, customer ID, and the validity period of the quote at the top of the template.
Enter the customer's name, address, and contact details under the "Bill To" section. If the items will be shipped to a different address, fill that in under "Ship To."
List each item being quoted in its own row under the "Item Number" and "Description" columns. Enter the quantity (Qty), the unit price, and the total price for each item. The "Total" for each line will be the Qty multiplied by the Unit Price.
The subtotal will be automatically calculated. Apply any tax rates to the subtotal to find the tax amount. Add any shipping costs. The final "Total" is the sum of the subtotal, tax, and shipping costs.
Include any additional information such as payment terms, delivery schedule, or other relevant notes that the customer should be aware of.
