In this article, we will show you how to set a time limit on Google Forms in just a few clicks. Read on to learn more.
Currently, Google Forms does not natively support the ability to add a timer directly within the form itself. However, you can use a third-party tool or add-on that integrates with Google Forms to add a timer. Simply follow the steps below.
Click on the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of your Google Form and select "Add-ons" from the drop-down menu.
In the Add-ons marketplace, enter "timer" into the search bar or look for a specific timer add-on such as "Form Timer," then review the available options based on their ratings and reviews.
Select the timer add-on that best suits your needs and click “Install” to add it to your Google Forms.
Return to your Google Form and click on the puzzle icon in the top menu bar to access your installed add-ons.
In the Add-ons menu, find and click on the newly installed timer add-on to configure the countdown timer and other settings as required for your form.
After configuring the timer, save your settings and click on the preview button (looks like an eye) to test how the timer works within your form.
