In this article we will show you how to share responses from google forms in just a few clicks. Simply follow the steps below.
In Google Forms, you will see three tabs above the edit area. Click the Responses tab. The number of responses received by Google Forms appears alongside the tab label. In the image below it’s 14 for example.
You will get a summary of the responses displayed. You can check the responses before going to the next step.
In the Responses tab, you will see a Link to Sheets button in the upper-right hand corner. If you hover your cursor over it you will see the message Sends responses to a spreadsheet. Click it.
A box will appear saying Select destination for responses. You have two options: Create a new spreadsheet (the default option) or Select existing spreadsheet. We will stick with the default option, and click Create.
A new tab will appear, loading the new spreadsheet containing the responses.
You can now share the linked sheet. Click the Share button on the upper-right corner of Google Sheets.
A box will appear. The users with access will be listed (which is only you), and a textbox is included for you to give access to other users via their Google accounts.
To add the user, input their Gmail address to the text box, then click Send. You can add a custom message to the email that they will receive.
The Google Forms responses have been shared via their Google account!
The user will get an automated email informing them that they now have access to the spreadsheet containing the Google Form responses.
