In this article, we will show you how to share Google Forms with others in just a few clicks. Simply follow the steps below.
Navigate to the top-right corner of your Google Form. Click on the three dots for more options.
In the dropdown menu, you'll find the "Add collaborators" option. Click on it.
A window titled "Add editors to [name of your survey]" will appear. Before you add the email addresses, on the top-right corner of this window, there's a gear symbol. Click on it to view and modify the permissions for collaborators.
In the "General access" section, determine if you want your form to be accessible only to specific individuals ("Restricted") or anyone who has the link.
In the provided box at the top, type in the email addresses of the people you want to share the form with.
Check the "Notify people" box if you want to send an email alert to your collaborators. An additional "Message" box allows you to include a personalized note.
After setting your preferences, finalize the sharing process by clicking the "Send" button. Your collaborators will then gain access according to the roles and permissions you've designated.
Google Forms provides several sharing options for your respondents. First, find the "Send" button at the top right of your Google Form editor and click on it.
Google Forms allows you to send the form directly to respondents' email addresses from within the platform. You can add email addresses, a subject, and a message. The recipients then receive an email with a link to the form.
Click on the envelope or mail icon to choose the email method. By default, you should already be here.
In the provided fields, enter the email addresses of your intended recipients, specify a subject for your email, and, if desired, add a personalized message.
After ensuring all details are correct, click the "Send" button. The form link will then be emailed to the specified recipients.
You can generate a unique link to your form, which can be shared directly with respondents. They can simply click on this link to access and answer the form.
In the send options, click on the link icon. It looks like a chain or a link.
You can decide if you want to shorten the URL by toggling the "Shorten URL" option.
Click the "Copy" button to copy the link to your clipboard. You can now share this link with your respondents through any medium.
Google Forms provides an embed code (an iframe) that you can place on a website or blog. Anyone visiting that webpage can then fill out the form directly from there:
In the send options, click on the embed icon.
Determine the width and height of the embedded form as it will appear on your website.
Click on the "Copy" button to copy the iframe embed code to your clipboard.
Go to your website's editor or content management system and paste the copied iframe code where you want the form to appear. The form will then be embedded and accessible directly from that webpage.
These steps should provide a clear guide for each sharing method. Remember to adjust settings and review your form before sharing to ensure it appears and functions as intended.
