Open the form you want to make public. Once open, click on the "Settings" tab. This tab contains options to manage response collection.
Within the "Settings" tab, locate and select the "Responses" section. This section contains settings that dictate who can respond to your form.
Ensure that the "Limit to 1 response" option is turned off. When activated, this option requires users to sign in which limits the form to private access. Deactivating it ensures that anyone can access your form without needing to sign in.
Still in the "Responses" section, find and turn off the "Collect email addresses" option. This ensures anyone can fill out your form without having to provide an email address.
Now that your form is set for public access, click the "Send" button. A pop-up window will appear showing options to share your form via email, a direct link (with options to shorten the URL or generate a QR code), or by embedding it into a webpage.
Simply follow the process below to make Google Forms public, but still editable for collaborators.
After ensuring the form is publicly accessible for responses, you can add collaborators who can edit the form. Navigate to the main editing page of your form and find the "More" (three vertical dots) button next to the "Send" button.
In the dropdown menu that appears after clicking "More," select "Add Collaborators." This will open a new window where you can add collaborators.
In the "Add Collaborators" window, enter the email addresses of the individuals you want to grant editing access to. Ensure that the permission is set to "Editor," allowing them to make changes to the form.
Click the "Send" button to dispatch invitations to the specified email addresses. The recipients will then be able to access and edit the form while the form remains public for responses.
