In this article, we will show you how to make a quiz in Google Forms in just a few clicks. Simply follow the steps below!
Begin by signing into your Google account. If you don't have one, you'll need to create it. Once signed in, access the Google Forms website (forms.google.com) to start creating your quiz.
Look for the "Start a New Form" section and click on the plus (+) icon to open a new blank form. This is your starting point for creating the quiz.
Click "Untitled Form" to give your quiz a title and add a description if necessary.
Then, go to the settings to toggle on the 'Make this a quiz' feature, which is essential for creating a self-grading quiz.
Once you have enabled quiz mode, switch back to the "Questions" tab, where you will see an "Untitled Question." Add your quiz questions here, and set the response type, such as multiple choice or short answer.
You can also set questions as required by toggling the switch at the bottom of the question box.
For each question, click on the "Answer key" to select the correct answer and assign points. Note that this option will only appear if you have Quiz mode enabled (see Step 3).
You can also provide answer feedback for respondents, where you can include explanations or additional information. To do this, simply click on "Add answer feedback."
After completing your quiz, use the preview option at the top (looks like an eye) to see how it looks from a respondent's perspective. Your form should open in a new tab.
Finally, click on the "Send" button at the top right to share your quiz with your intended audience using a shareable link. Simply select the chain icon in the middle and click "Copy." You can read our guide on how to share Google Forms with others for detailed instructions.
