In this article, we will show you how to set up a Google Forms redirect after submission. Simply follow the steps below.
Follow the steps below to set up your Google Form to redirect respondents to a specific URL after they submit their responses.
Open your Google Form. Locate and click the 'Settings' button placed at the top middle of the screen. This action opens the main settings menu of your form, where you can adjust various aspects of its functionality.
Within the settings menu, click on the 'Presentation' tab. This tab is specifically dedicated to how your form will appear to respondents post-submission. It's in this tab where you can control what respondents see after they've completed the form.
Look for the 'Confirmation message' field in the 'Presentation' tab. Click the 'Edit' button next to it. This will allow you to modify the message that respondents will see after they submit their answers.
Type your custom message in the editable text area for the confirmation message. Include a call to action, such as “Click here to fill out our customer survey form” followed by your desired redirect URL.
After you’ve entered your custom confirmation message and inserted the redirect URL, click the 'Save' button located at the bottom of the settings panel. This will apply and save all the changes you’ve made to the confirmation message.
To ensure everything works as expected, submit a test response to your form. Fill it out as if you’re a respondent, submit it, and then check to see if the confirmation message with your redirect link appears correctly.
