In this article, we will show you how to set up a Google Forms dashboard in just a few clicks. Simply follow the steps below!

How to Set Up Your Google Forms Dashboard

Step 1: Link Google Forms Responses to a Google Sheet

First, ensure that your Google Forms responses are being collected in a Google Sheet. Open your Google Form, click on the "Responses" tab, and then select the Google Sheets icon to link or create a spreadsheet for collecting responses.

Note: You may be asked to complete your account setup.

Step 3: Connect Your Google Sheet as a Data Source

You should be asked to add data to your report. Choose "Google Sheets" from the list.

Authorize Looker Studio to connect to your Google Sheets, then select the spreadsheet linked to your Google Forms responses.

Click "Add to Report."

Step 4: Add Charts and Visualizations to Your Dashboard

You should now be able to configure your dashboard. Utilize the "Add a Chart" tool in the toolbar to begin adding various charts and tables to your dashboard. You can select from different types of charts like bar, pie, or line charts.

Step 5: Finalize and Share Your Dashboard

Once your dashboard is complete, preview it by clicking on "View." You can also share your dashboard with others.

Regularly verify that your dashboard is updating correctly with new Google Forms responses. Although Google Data Studio typically updates automatically, it’s good practice to check that the data remains current and accurate.
