In this article, we will show you how to use the Google Forms dark mode feature. Simply follow the steps below.
Although Google Forms does not have a built-in dark mode option, you can achieve this using a Chrome extension. Follow the process below to enable dark mode in Google Forms with a dark mode extension.
Add a dark mode extension to your browser that works with Google Docs, such as "Dark Mode". Find the extension in your browser’s store, search for it, and then install it.
To ensure the extension affects Google Forms, go to your browser's extensions page. Click on the dark mode extension and click the three dots.
Now, select 'View web permissions'.
This allows you to confirm whether the extension works with Google Forms.
Open Google Forms by typing "Google Forms" into a search engine or visiting the Google Forms website. The dark mode should be automatically applied by the extension, changing the appearance of Google Forms to darker colors.
If the dark mode is not applied correctly, you may need to adjust the extension's settings. Go to your browser's extensions page, click the three dots beside the dark mode extension, and choose 'Options'.
From there, you can change the theme settings to get the desired appearance in Google Forms.
With dark mode active, use Google Forms as normal. The dark theme provides a more comfortable viewing experience in low-light conditions.
To revert to light mode or modify the dark mode settings, access the extension's settings and make the necessary adjustments.
