How to Set up Google Forms Background Image

Follow the steps below to customize your Google Form with a background image to improve its visual appeal and engagement.

1. Access Form Customization

To begin customizing your Google Form with a background image, open the Google Forms editor. In the top-right corner, you'll see the "Color palette" icon. Click on it to access the customization options.

3. Select a Background Theme from Google Library

When you click "Choose an image," a window will appear with image options. You can explore various themes provided by Google by clicking on different images. Once you find one you like, click 'insert' to set it as your background image.

4. Upload Your Custom Image

Alternatively, if you want to use your image as the background, choose the "Upload" option instead of selecting from the library. After selecting "Upload," click the "Browse" button to locate and upload your desired image from your computer. The recommended dimensions for your image are approximately 1600 pixels in width and 900 pixels in height.

5. Preview Your Form

To see how your background image looks within your Google Form, click on the eye icon, which serves as a Preview button.

This allows you to get a visual representation of how the background image appears with your form's content.

6. Save Your Form

If you're satisfied with how your background image looks and the overall customization, your changes are automatically saved to Google Drive.
