Here’s how to customize the questions of your Google Forms:
Open your Google Form and click on the 'Questions' tab at the top of the page. This section displays all the questions you have created so far and allows you to modify or add new questions.
To add a new question, click the '+' button on the right-hand toolbar.
This will open a menu where you can select the type of question (e.g., multiple choice, text). To edit an existing question, click directly on the question text and make your changes.
To format text in a question, highlight the text you want to modify. A small toolbar will appear, allowing you to choose options like bold (B), italicize (I), and underline (U). Use these options to emphasize or differentiate parts of your question.
For each question, you'll see a toolbar at the bottom. Click on the 'Required' toggle to make a question mandatory.
Use the 'Description' icon (a small text box icon) to add additional information under the question.
If you're using multiple-choice questions, click on the 'Shuffle option order' toggle to randomize the order of the answer options.
Here’s how to customize the sections of your Google Forms:
To create a new section, click on the two horizontal lines icon in the right-hand toolbar. This splits your form into different sections. To edit a section, click the section header and type in your new title or description.
In each section, click on the title or description text to edit. Use this space to provide a brief overview of what the section is about or any instructions that might be needed for the questions in that section.
To rearrange the order of sections, click on the three dots icon at the bottom right corner of the section you wish to move. In the menu that appears, select 'Move section.' This allows you to reposition the section within the form, helping to organize your form logically.
Here’s how to customize fonts and header of your Google Forms:
In the upper right corner of your form, click on the palette icon. This opens the theme customization menu where you can change fonts and headers.
In the theme customization menu, look for the 'Font Style' drop-down. Select from a variety of font styles to change how the text appears throughout your form.
Under the 'Header' section in the theme customization menu, click on the 'Choose image' button to upload a new image or select from Google's gallery. This image will appear at the top of your form.
Here’s how to customize your Google Forms themes:
Click the palette icon in the upper right corner to open the theme customization menu, where you can change your form's color scheme.
In the theme customization menu, select 'Theme Color'. Here, you can choose a new color that will be applied to your form's titles, buttons, and links.
While you can't add a custom background image, you can select a background color. Pick a color that complements your theme, enhancing the overall visual appeal of your form.
Here’s how to configure the general settings of your Google Forms:
To adjust the settings of your Google Form, simply click on 'Settings' located at the top of the form. This will open a menu with various options to customize how your form functions.
In the 'Settings' menu, navigate to the 'Responses' tab. For email collection, choose 'Do not collect' for anonymous responses, 'Verified' if you want respondents to sign in with their Google account, or 'Input' to have respondents manually enter their email addresses. Y
You also have the option to manage response limits.
Go to the 'Presentation' tab for options like showing a progress bar (toggle the option), and customizing the confirmation message (type in your desired message).
If your form is a quiz, switch to the 'Quizzes' tab and adjust settings like releasing grades immediately or later.
