In this article, we will show you how to do chart abstraction using the Lido app. Simply follow the steps below!
For this guide, we will use the Lido app. Using the Lido app for chart abstraction is more efficient than a manual chart abstraction process because it automates data extraction, ensuring speed and accuracy while reducing human error. Lido can also integrate with other software systems, which makes it easier to import and export data seamlessly.

To demonstrate, here's how to extract key data from tables for chart abstraction using Lido's PDF extraction tool:
Log into your Lido account, go to the Files page, and create a new spreadsheet by clicking on "New file" to organize and analyze the data extracted from your tables.
In your new spreadsheet, click on the "File" menu at the top and select "Import from PDF." This tool converts PDF data into a structured spreadsheet format.
Click on "Click to Upload" in the file importer tool and select the PDF from your computer, or you can simply drag and drop the file.
Adjust the selection box to include the entire table by dragging the blue corners, then press "Extract data" to start the extraction process.
Check that the data is complete and correctly extracted. For tables, data will be extracted as tables, and plain text will be ignored.
Click "Insert at active cell" to insert the data into the spreadsheet. If you need to extract more tables or adjust your selection, click "Back" to return and repeat the process.
We hope that you now know how to automate the chart abstraction process using the Lido app. If you enjoyed this article, you might also like our articles on the best commercial lease abstraction companies and lease abstraction process.
