In this article, we will show you how to subscribe to a Google Calendar in just a few clicks. Simply follow the steps below.
Click on "Add" next to “Other calendars,” and select "Subscribe to calendar."
Enter the person's email address in the “Add calendar” box and press Enter. If the calendar is not shared with you, a prompt to request access will appear.
If the calendar isn’t already shared with you, the owner will receive an email to grant access. Once they approve your request, you'll get an email with a link to add the calendar. This added calendar will appear under “Other calendars” in your Google Calendar.
For public calendars, go to Google Calendar, click "Add" beside "Other calendars," and then select "From URL."
Enter the calendar's URL and click "Add calendar." The calendar will then be visible under "Other calendars," though updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.
You'll see a three-dot menu icon (⋮) appear next to the calendar's name. Click on this icon.
After clicking the three-dot menu icon, a dropdown menu will appear. From this menu, select "Settings."
On the settings page, scroll down until you find the "Remove calendar" section. This section is usually located at the bottom of the settings page.
A confirmation dialog may appear asking if you are sure you want to unsubscribe from the calendar. Click "Remove calendar" to confirm.
