Follow the steps below to invite someone to your Google Calendar and allow them to view or edit your events and schedules.
Access your Google Calendar's settings by clicking on the gear icon located at the top right corner of the calendar interface. Select 'Settings' to modify your calendar.
In the settings menu, you'll see a list of your available calendars on the left side. Click on the specific calendar you wish to share with others.
Within the settings for your chosen calendar, scroll down to find the 'Share with specific people' option. This section allows you to manage who can see your calendar.
Click on 'Add people and groups' in the sharing section.
Here, you can input the email addresses of the individuals you want to give access to your calendar. You can add multiple people.
For each person you add, select a permission level from the dropdown menu. Options vary from viewing-only permissions ('See only free/busy') to full editing rights ('Make changes and manage sharing').
After adding people and setting their permissions, click 'Send' at the bottom of the window. This action will send an email invitation to each person, asking them to view your calendar.
You can ensure the invitations were sent by checking your sent email folder in Gmail. Alternatively, wait for the invitees to confirm they have received and accepted your invitation.
If you need to change sharing permissions or stop sharing your calendar with someone, return to the 'Share with specific people' section in your calendar settings. Here, you can make any necessary adjustments.
